I really cannot get over how much time has flown! Our little man is not so little anymore! Ben is truly one of the happiest, most laid back babies ever! He takes so much delight in every little thing. His favorite things are:
-technology. We have to be so mindful to keep him away from the TV or computer because if those things are in his visual range, he will stare nonstop!
-his brother. Matthew can just walk into the room, and Ben will immediately start laughing hysterically. He loves his brother!!!
-Sophie. The giraffe. If you are a parent of a teething baby, and you do not know about Sophie, find out. You'll thank me later.
-Mommy and Daddy. Duh.
He's begun eating solids, which has been so much fun (and so messy…that dude sticks his fingers in his mouth after each bite!). So far, he has only mastered oatmeal and sweet potatoes, but we move on to squash today! Some other fun facts are:
-He weighs almost 19 pounds, which puts him in the 75th percentile for weight,
-He is 27.5 inches tall. Also 75th percentile.
-He is rolling over (old news).
-He's sitting up! (He's really proud of himself for this one. Everytime he sits longer than ten seconds without toppling over, he cracks up like he's made some sort of hilarious joke).
-He loves his jumparoo (just like his brother did). Seriously, this thing is the best toy ever.
-Sleeps great! Right now he sleeps about 11 hours a night.
And, all Ben wants for Christmas are his two front (bottom) teeth!!! Those suckers are relentless! They just won't break the skin. Come on, teeth!!! Enough already!!!!
